42nd WESTERN REGIONAL NUCLEAR AND PARTICLE PHYSICS
CONFERENCE
(WRNPPC '05)
This is the first time in 21 years that the Western Regional will
not be
held at Lake Louise. By switching to the Banff Centre we have
achieved
significant cost savings, which we hope will make it possible for more
students
and researchers to attend.
The Conference(WRNPPC '05) is organized by the University of Manitoba and TRIUMF. As usual, it will be held on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday immediately preceding the Lake Louise Winter institute.
If you have a question, email wrnppc@triumf.ca .
Click the button above to register directly on the web, OR download
the PDF form and mail it to Elly
Driessen,
TRIUMF, 4004 Wesbrook Mall, Vancouver V6T 2A3. Indicate if you will be
contributing a paper so we know to expect your abstract. To save money,
submit
your registration form before December 15, 2004. The registration fee
is $75
before this advanced registration deadline, or $100 after. Student
registration
before December 15 is free, and $50 after. You can also email your
registration
to wrnppc@triumf.ca.
The registration fee includes the reception, coffee breaks, and a copy of the abstracts.
Abstracts are best prepared using LaTeX. If you edit this LaTeX Template the
formatting will automatically be right. If you don't use LaTeX, the
hardcopy
should look like this PDF
example . The example also gives you more details. Please send both
the
source file (.tex, .doc, .wpd, ...) and a printer ready
PostScript or PDF
file, as email attachments to wrnppc@triumf.ca. The deadline for
abstract
submission is Sunday, January 23, 2005.
Contributed talks are 12 minutes with 2 or 3 minutes for discussion.
Invited talks are 25 minutes with 5 minutes for discussion.
